New Contracts for Barsoo: Saba Foolad & Torbat Heidariyeh
After attracting two new clients' confidence, Barsoo has made new contracts as MC on the projects. Saba Foolad project which includes one mega module DRI Plant, Steel Making Plant and theirs utilities located on PGSEZ, Hormozgan province (south of Iran). MC contract between Saba Foolad Co. and Barsoo came into force on June 2009. Barsoo hold the tender of DR Plant EPC contractor in 3 month and contract between EPC Contractor and client was signed on September 2009.
Torbat Heidarieh Steel Co. wishes to establish a complex including direct reduction and steel making and rolling mill plants in Khorasan province (East of Iran). Barsoo achieved to sign contract with client as MC with highest score on September 2009.
Organizational Portal
The portal has been designed and implemented on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 finished platform. This portal is used for collaboration, internal announcements, electronic data management and rearrangement of technical documents archive.
Hormozgan 1st Phase Startup
Barsoo, as main consultant of the project, is proud to announce that the 1th phase of Hormozgan Steel Complex, including one Direct Reduction Module, raw material and product handling system and related utilities was commissioned on 14th March 2009 and started up to produce 110 tons per hour DRI in presence of the president, Mr. Ahmadinejad.
The related contract came into force on June 2006, execution of such a project within 32 months is a record in Iran. Design, manufacturing and construction of the first phase of project have been done mainly by local companies. Barsoo congratulates this event to all Iranians, especially residents of Bandar Abbas City.
