Direct induction plant, steel making plant
The Contract was awarded in July 2001 by National Iranian Steel Company (NISCO) for calling an International Tender for Turnkey implementation of Hormozgan Steel Complex in Mines and Metals Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) in Bandar Abbas Province in south of Iran for production of one and half Million tons of conventional slabs.
The scope of contract includes the followings:
- Preparation of pre-qualification questionnaire
- To call for international pre-qualification of potential bidders
- Assessment of pre-qualification documents of potential bidders
- Preparation of evaluation report and short list of qualified bidders
- Preparation of bid documents for steel making plant
- Preparation of bid documents for direct reduction plant
- Invitation of pre-qualified bidders for preparation a complete tender according to “instruction to bidders” and the bid documents
- Assessment of technical tenders for steel making plant
- Assessment of technical tenders for direct reduction plant
- Preparation of bid evaluation report for technical tenders of steel making and direct reduction plant
- Suggesting the most feasible tenders to NISCO
- Preparation the text of EPC contract and all relevant annexes
- Final negotiation with successful bidder and conclusion of the contract
- Rendering engineering services as representative of NISCO from the commencement date of EPC contract to final acceptance of the complex
